Max Verstappen was first spotted during the summer break enjoying a vacation with girlfriend Kelly Piquet and her daughter, Penelope, alongside a group of friends. Although he hasn’t appeared frequently in later photos, there’s no cause for concern; he can still be seen in recent images shared by Kelly.
The trio is currently soaking up the sun in Portugal, where they’re having a fantastic time with friends, including Formula E driver Antonio Felix da Costa. Antonio posted a group photo featuring Verstappen and shared a reel on Instagram capturing a moment of Max diving into the sea. Kelly also posted a video highlighting her time with Max during their getaway.
The couple still has a little time to relish the tranquility before Verstappen returns to work. In just a week, media commitments for the Zandvoort Grand Prix will kick off, and since it’s his home race, the Formula 1 driver will have a packed schedule ahead.
